Known as "The Hero," activist Yureibys Torresilla, who leads the "Brothers of the Street" initiative, has announced a community meal for 90 vulnerable individuals in Sancti Spíritus this Friday. Torresilla shared on Facebook that he will open his home, located at Independencia #203, to offer a meal to those in need.

“Hallelujah, ten packages of chicken just arrived at my house,” the activist joyously announced, noting that the meal will be ready by 2:30 PM. Supported by Yanalli González Domínguez and Nelys Valdés, this charitable act aims to provide nourishment and restore dignity to the most vulnerable members of the community.

“Our team will sit at the table with them,” Torresilla stated, emphasizing his commitment to those who need it most. He expressed gratitude to those who made this gesture possible, especially thanking his friend Bebé: “Thank you, my friend, for every beautiful gesture you make for everyone's benefit.”

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by Torresilla to support the underserved population in Sancti Spíritus. Not long ago, the "Brothers of the Street" project distributed food to the most vulnerable residents, offering support to those lacking adequate government protection.

Torresilla mentioned on Facebook that the recent outreach was particularly impactful, reaching individuals living in the most critical conditions. Another humanitarian project stood out this Thursday when the "Huellas" initiative successfully delivered an orthopedic device from Miami, restoring hope for a young man in Contramaestre to walk again.
