Two prominent Cuban singers, La Diosa and Dayamí La Musa, found themselves at the center of a heated exchange during a recent episode of the YouTube show Farándula 305, hosted by Un Martí To Durako. Dayamí La Musa appeared as a guest on the program, during which a phone call was made to La Diosa to address their ongoing issues. However, instead of resolving tensions, the call escalated into further discord.
The conflict originated when La Diosa left one of Dayamí's concerts, an act perceived by Dayamí as disrespectful. She explained on the show that it was a misunderstanding. Despite this, Dayamí took on a confrontational tone, stating, "If I had already assured her that I wanted nothing to do with her, there was no need to go to Otaola and cause such a scene. How ugly."
In response, La Diosa attempted to explain her stance, saying, "I want peace, I want to grow, I don't want to be part of this narrative. I’m not interested in excuses or anything else." Yet, her words did little to placate Dayamí, who bluntly retorted, "You don't want drama? Just hang up then."
"Don't talk to me like that," La Diosa reacted, addressing Un Martí directly. She clarified that any future collaborations with other artists would only occur if mutual respect is present. "When there’s no need to create noise with me just to gain attention and then make excuses," she pointed out.
Further, La Diosa reiterated her desire to stay out of controversies and maintain a respectful demeanor: "I want to be respectful now, and you should too, because what you're doing is wasting time. I'm telling you this now as I did privately. You're making a fool of yourself," she told Dayamí.
This exchange was shared on Un Martí To Durako's account, where many of La Diosa's followers expressed their support and praised her new approach of avoiding conflicts.
