Teresa Criticizes Damián's Aunt for Calling El Taiger a Criminal: "How Can You Defend Your Nephew?"

Evelyn, the aunt by marriage of Damián Valdez-Galloso, who is accused of the second-degree murder of Cuban urban music singer José Manuel Carbajal, also known as El Taiger, has stirred controversy once again. She made inflammatory remarks against Teresa, the artist's former booking manager, and influencer Sachy Sánchez.

In her statements, Evelyn labeled both her nephew and El Taiger as "criminals" while criticizing the efforts to seek justice for the singer's murder. In a video circulating on social media, Evelyn argued that if the situation were reversed, no one would be demanding justice for Damián, and everyone would be silent, protecting El Taiger.

These comments ignited social media, prompting a strong response from Teresa, who took to Instagram to voice her position. "Madam, for the love of God, how can you defend your nephew?" Teresa began. The former manager pointed out that it was evident Damián was involved in criminal activities, and added that as an older person, Evelyn should have been aware of the "wrong paths" her nephew was following.

Teresa also defended El Taiger, emphasizing that although the singer used drugs, that did not make him a criminal. Instead, she directly accused Damián of fueling that addiction by selling him illicit substances.

"I demand justice, YES! And justice will be what God wants it to be, not what you think I desire," Teresa wrote, making it clear that she seeks the truth to be revealed and Damián's actions not to go unpunished.

Teresa further highlighted that her call for justice extends beyond El Taiger's murder, aiming to address the lives allegedly harmed by Damián's illicit activities, including drug sales and child abuse.

"Madam, for the love of God, how can you defend your nephew? I imagine you were aware that your nephew was a criminal. As an older person with life experience, you should know he has been on the wrong path for a long time (as we have seen). So, do you think he would have to pay for all his mistakes at some point in his life?

Not only that: José used drugs, and that is a disease that your nephew fueled daily by selling them to him. That, madam, does not mean José was a criminal! And to clarify something for you, I demand justice, YES! And justice will be what God wants it to be, not what you think I desire.

I wish harm upon no one; that hatred does not live in my heart. But yes, I will fight for justice! Not only for what he did to José but also for all the lives he harmed by selling drugs, abusing minors, and many more things that have come to light.

Please, do not address me or mention my name again. If you want to save your nephew's life, ask God," Teresa wrote.

Evelyn is no stranger to controversy. Last month, she also spoke out on social media, dismissing the petition led by Teresa to demand a fair trial. At that time, she claimed that such signatures "would serve no purpose."

The case of Damián Valdez-Galloso and the death of El Taiger continues to stir emotions and divisions within the Cuban community, where many demand justice while others uphold the accused's presumption of innocence.
