Two young Cuban mothers are in desperate need of employment in Miami, USA. Stepping up to assist his fellow Cubans, influencer Dairon Cano shared their stories to raise awareness and support. In a TikTok video, Cano explained that the women reached out to him about their situation. Known for his unwavering support for the Latino community facing challenges in the United States, he urged the public to help these women find jobs.
The mothers shared that despite their efforts, they have been unable to secure positions. They emphasized their willingness to take on any kind of work, with one expressing, "Anything will do." Residing in the Homestead area, the women have applied to numerous places but have not had any luck securing employment. In response, Cano called on business owners in need of workers to contact him, hoping to support his fellow Cubans.
The video has garnered thousands of interactions at a time when finding employment is particularly challenging due to, among other reasons, the influx of immigrants eager to work and succeed. Less than a week ago, another Cuban residing in Miami shared his struggle to find a job, capturing the attention of many. After six months of submitting applications to at least 20 places, he reported not receiving a single response. Frustrated yet with a hint of humor, he exclaimed, "If you don't need anyone, don't make us fill out applications. My wrist hurts from writing so much. It's disrespectful!"
Back in September, the story of Diairys Lorente came to light. A Cuban mother living in the city, she went several months without work despite her relentless efforts to find a job.
