Cuban host Alexander Otaola has shot back at reggaeton artist Yomil Hidalgo Puentes, after the latter hinted in a recent video that the controversial influencer played a role in the denial of his U.S. visa. During his live show on YouTube, Otaola sarcastically addressed the singer's allegations.
"Look at Yomil crying because he didn't get the visa. Maybe he actually did get it and is just trying to throw people off. I don't believe a word he says," Otaola remarked, dismissing the reggaeton artist's claims.
Known for his contentious opinions, the host suggested that Yomil explore alternative routes to reach the United States, though he warned that current immigration policies might pose challenges. "I think it's fine if he comes through Mexico or Canada. He says he didn't get the visa, but perhaps he hasn't heard that there's a new president who says everyone crossing the border will be sent back," he commented with a touch of irony.
The dispute was sparked when Yomil released a video on his Instagram account, insinuating that Otaola was involved in the alleged visa denial. Although he provided no concrete evidence, his remarks reignited tensions between the two, who have a history of public confrontations.
Otaola, however, denied any involvement and seized the moment to mock the artist. This exchange once again highlights the ongoing polarization between these two figures in Cuban entertainment, who never miss a chance to criticize and accuse each other.
