Family members of a young man from Holguín are urgently seeking assistance in locating him after he left his home four days ago without any further contact. Jorge Ramón Rodríguez Cedeño, a 30-year-old resident of San Germán Road in Campuchea, reportedly left his residence in the early hours of Friday, December 13, as shared by Cuban broadcaster Indira Solís on Facebook this Tuesday.

"His family is desperate for any information regarding his whereabouts," Solís stated, urging the public to immediately contact the phone numbers 58999047 or 53186941 if they have any pertinent information about the case. Solís also mentioned that the family did not notice what clothing Rodríguez was wearing when he left and did not provide additional details about the young man.

In a recent update to her post, Solís noted, "I just spoke with his mother, and he is still missing." Over recent years, the rise in crime and insecurity in Cuba has led to frequent reports of missing persons across the nation, heightening concerns among families and the general populace.

Due to the absence of an official state channel to address these cases, families often turn to social media and independent outlets in a desperate plea for help in finding their loved ones. While some individuals are eventually located through tips from citizens, others remain missing, like Karildi Marín, who disappeared a year ago in Havana.

Update

Following a report by CiberCuba, it was announced that Jorge Ramón Rodríguez Cedeño has been found safe and sound in the province of Villa Clara. The missing person alert has been canceled, as confirmed by Indira Solís.
