The humanitarian initiative known as "Breath of Life", spearheaded by Yankiel Fernández, has once again offered a helping hand amid the social challenges in Havana. This time, the assistance reached a mother and her four children, living in dire poverty in a former fish market located in Lawton.

Through his Facebook page, Fernández shared details of the charitable action, accompanied by a message filled with faith and determination. "Even if a thousand giants rise against me, I will not fear. Although there are four or five out there trying to harm a Ministry with more than nine years, there is a God above who tells us: 'You walk, and I will support you,'" the activist expressed.

This intervention in Lawton is part of a series of initiatives that "Breath of Life" has been carrying out for nearly a decade, providing aid to families in vulnerable and precarious situations.

Fernández extended his gratitude to the donors who make these actions possible, stating, "Thanks to that angel who constantly helps us continue doing good."

The plight of this mother and her children highlights the severe needs faced by many Cuban families, especially in urban settings where the deterioration of infrastructure and the lack of housing alternatives exacerbate living conditions. However, efforts like these demonstrate that solidarity remains a crucial tool in overcoming adversity.

The work of "Breath of Life" and its dedication to social causes continues to make a difference, emphasizing the importance of community action and mutual support during times of crisis.

Recently, the activist called on the community to engage in various Christmas activities aimed at children, the elderly, and vulnerable people in Havana. In a Facebook post, Fernández outlined the efforts and schedule for the upcoming events, which include the distribution of toys, sweets, and Christmas dinners in hospitals, neighborhoods, and disadvantaged areas.
