Friday, December 20, 2024 by Felix Ortiz

On December 20th, the remains of José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar were moved to a newly prepared chapel in the Colón Cemetery, where they will rest alongside those of his mother, Magda Zaldívar. The former manager of El Taiger shared images on Instagram showcasing the newly arranged chapel, which had been in the works for several weeks.

"Promise fulfilled," she wrote in one of her Instagram stories, marking an important moment for her as she had wished for the reggaeton artist's final resting place to be beside his mother. The images reveal a tombstone bearing the details of the singer's mother, including her birth and death dates, along with the words "goal achieved."

Above the tombstone rests the urn containing the ashes of the singer, which were transported from Miami. Featured prominently in the chapel is a photograph of El Taiger gazing towards the sky and a Cuban flag, a testament to his deep affection for his homeland.

The final farewell to El Taiger is scheduled for this Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing an opportunity for those who wish to visit the chapel in Colón Cemetery to pay their respects.
