In the Cuban province of Artemisa, the decline of funeral services has become strikingly evident. In the town of Alquízar, the body of a local resident remained in her home for five hours due to the unavailability of transportation to the funeral home.
According to a post by user Liuver Mederos in the Facebook group "Revolico Alquízar," the deceased, named Martica, passed away at around 7:00 am in her home. However, it wasn't until noon that she was finally transported to the funeral home. "Thanks to the good Samaritan with that little red car who offered their help," Liuver expressed.
The ordeal didn't end there. The grieving family was also asked to supply their own dust and cement to seal the coffin at the cemetery. "It's important to note that there is transportation readily available for the municipal leaders, the PCC, the Administration Council, and the People's Power Assembly. Those services never stop," the accuser pointed out critically.
