Nearly 50 days have passed since the disappearance of elderly Heriberto Llánez García in Morón, Ciego de Ávila, leaving his family in a state of distress. In an attempt to broaden the search beyond the province, his daughter has issued an urgent appeal for help on social media.

Yamilka Llánez Villanueva used her Facebook page to request assistance in the search for her father in Santa Clara, his place of origin, after receiving reports of sightings in that area. "I was informed that someone resembling him was seen near Loma del Capiro, in the Vigía, Sandino area, and nearby locations such as the train terminal and hospitals," she explained. "I need a photo and an urgent call to 53156657. Thank you, thank you," she wrote.

Yamilka urged anyone who believes they have seen her father to take a picture and send it to her for verification, stressing the importance of confirming his identity. "We've received sightings from many places, but upon checking, it hasn't been him. Please help share this across the country, and if anyone sees him, take a photo and call 53156657 immediately. So far, none of the people reported has been my dad," she clarified.

The family has been actively searching since his disappearance on the morning of November 11. Heriberto Llánez García left home without any identification or phone, and he is not suffering from dementia. "I don't have photos of what he was wearing. I was told he left in a light blue shirt, gray or brown pants, a black cap, and carrying a white bag," his daughter mentioned, even offering a reward for information leading to his finding.
