As the New Year approached, a segment of the Castro-Soto del Valle family indulged in a lavish celebration marked by an abundance of pork, cigars, and fine wine. Images shared on social media reveal a table laden with a feast. Among those gathered were Alexis Castro Soto del Valle, the son of the infamous dictator Fidel Castro, his wife, their son—known for his controversies—Sandro Castro, and several other attendees.

An additional presence at the gathering was Issuan Reorger López, a grandnephew of Raúl Castro, who donned a yellow shirt and enjoyed a Cohíba cigar. He posted the photos on his Instagram account under the alias izuanmuhammad1991, captioning them with "The toughest in Cuba."

According to the Facebook page La Tijera, the Castro-Soto del Valle’s soirée took place at Punto Cero, located in the Playa municipality of Havana. Meanwhile, Raúl Castro Ruz, along with his close family and friends, opted to ring in 2025 from the comfort of his countryside mansion in Cayo Saetía, situated in the Holguín province.
