Osmani García and His Wife Laura Share a Remarkable Encounter with Japanese Snow Monkeys

Wednesday, January 8, 2025 by Emma Garcia

Osmani García and his wife Laura thrive on unique experiences, especially those that involve nature and wildlife. Their latest adventure took them to Japan, where they sought to get up close and personal with the famous Japanese snow monkeys, also known as the Japanese macaque or red-faced macaque.

“These monkeys are renowned for soaking in hot springs, and we had the incredible opportunity to witness this firsthand in the mountains of Nagano,” the reggaeton artist shared on his Instagram account.

The musician posted a video on social media, providing a detailed glimpse into their encounter with the primates. Osmani, Laura, and their son Bryan courageously entered the hot springs, maintaining a close watch on the nearby monkeys. Despite the relaxing warmth of the water, they remained vigilant, occasionally startled by the proximity of the monkeys, who seemed quite accustomed to human visitors.

In their pursuit of extreme experiences, the couple previously swam with sharks in the Bahamas and interacted with tigers, lions, and even giraffes in Mexico last year.
