A property in Playa, Havana, featuring a house with a supermarket, has remained on the market for over a year despite its appealing features and prime location. Originally listed over a year ago, the listing has been re-shared on Facebook by Jorge D. Pérez Istueta, who is noted as the vice president of Vista Habana Real Estate. Although the listing has garnered attention on social media, a buyer has yet to be found.

Located at the intersection of 15th and 84th streets, the property spans 459 square meters. It is uniquely equipped with two separate entrances: one leading to the house and the other to the supermarket, which covers an area of 130 square meters.

The residence itself includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living-dining area, kitchen, basement, laundry room, garage, and office space. Additionally, the sale includes all furnishings for both the house and the supermarket, as well as two three-phase electric generators, each with a capacity of 10 kW.

Back in December 2022, when CiberCuba first reported on this offering, the asking price was noted to be $600,000.

Shortly before the initial listing, the Cuban regime criticized Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for selling finished goods, accusing them of not contributing to the country's wealth. Such criticisms sparked concerns about potential tighter regulations, possibly prompting the owners to consider divesting from their business.

Despite the property's advantages, the steep price, along with economic constraints and uncertainty within Cuba's business landscape, are likely significant factors contributing to the lack of a buyer.
