Flight Attendant Records Potential UFO on Private Jet Returning to Florida

Tuesday, January 14, 2025 by Albert Rivera

While flying back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on the night of December 23, a flight crew experienced a baffling encounter over the Bahamas. They witnessed a peculiar object in the sky, leaving them without a clear explanation. Aboard an empty aircraft from the private airline Surjet, the crew spotted a bright, spherical object darting across the sky, defying conventional explanations.

Cassandra Martin, a flight attendant with Surjet, recounted to Telemundo 51 that the object appeared at an altitude of approximately 43,000 feet, much higher than typical drone operations. She mentioned that the crew received a message from Miami air traffic control shortly before the sighting.

"Suddenly, I heard air traffic say, ‘We have a strange object. Can you identify it, please?’ I looked to the left, and the pilot saw three objects; I only saw one. So, I grabbed my phone and moved it to the window to try to record it," she explained. The object remained visible for about 45 minutes.

The flight attendant detailed that the object seemed surrounded by an electrical field and had the ability to change colors and zigzag through the sky. "It started white and then turned green, like it had some kind of electrical energy around it," she added, describing the sighting as extraordinarily unusual. "I don't know what it was. I zoomed in as much as my phone would allow. [...] The object stayed with us for a while and then disappeared. We were quite high, and that object was even higher than us," she reiterated.

The video captured by Martin shows a luminous orb moving at high speed, ruling out the possibility of it being a weather balloon or any common object, as highlighted by the media outlet.

Expert Analysis

The footage recorded by Martin caught the attention of Bryan Bender, a former Pentagon correspondent and member of Americans for Safe Aerospace, an organization dedicated to studying anomalous aviation phenomena. Bender noted that the sighting shares similarities with other cases reported by military pilots.

"The video is compelling. This account echoes other reports from pilots describing orbs or, in some cases, ‘Tic Tacs’ flying at very high altitudes and maneuvering in ways that defy our understanding of physics," Bender stated. He reminded that the Pentagon has a dedicated office investigating these sightings, considered a priority for both national security and civil aviation.

As of the publication of this article, no further details about the unusual incident have been confirmed.
