Flor de Cuba Criticizes Miami's Cuban Entertainment Scene: "There's No Love or True Friendship"

Thursday, January 16, 2025 by Felix Ortiz

Flor de Cuba has made a firm decision to distance herself from the Cuban entertainment scene in Miami, choosing not to engage with what she sees as a toxic environment. Through her Instagram account, the Cuban influencer shared the reasons behind her choice, and many of her followers supported her stance.

"There's no love in the entertainment world, only mistreatment," she declared. "There are no true friends; they only stick with you when you're trending. They want your life, your partner, your followers, and your sponsors," Flor de Cuba stated. For her, this sphere is filled with deceit, where friendships are far from genuine: "When you're on top, everyone wants a piece of you, but when you're down, no one cares."

At this point in her life, Flor is focused on her goals and the things that truly matter to her: "I'm about making money, personal growth, and family. I want my followers to share these values, not chase after the latest trend."

Since arriving in the United States, Flor de Cuba has been under intense scrutiny from the very entertainment community she now critiques. While she has garnered a significant following, she also faces criticism, particularly for not buying a new car or for choosing to live in the U.S. while her children remain in Cuba.

Recently, she even took a bold step by parodying the Cuban influencers in Miami, criticizing their lifestyle and materialistic tendencies, hinting that such a life is not what she aspires to.
