Teresa Padrón, former manager of the reggaeton artist El Taiger, has revealed that the next court hearing related to his murder is scheduled for March 20 at 9:00 a.m. "I urge everyone who can attend to support me with your presence," Padrón shared on her Instagram stories. "We need to show the court that José is not alone and that we are demanding justice for him," she added.

On February 14, friends, fans, and Padrón herself left a Miami-Dade County criminal court feeling discouraged, as they anticipated progress in the case and hoped to learn whether the prosecution would seek the death penalty for the accused. However, Teresa explained at that time that the prosecution had not yet made a decision regarding the death penalty for Damian Valdez Galloso.

The absence of concrete information led to frustration among those present. Teresa Padrón openly expressed her dissatisfaction with the direction in which the events were unfolding, insisting on justice for El Taiger. She claimed that it feels as though the authorities are intentionally delaying the process to minimize media attention.

"I've already contacted the prosecution and am waiting for a call. I was born here, so I understand how this country operates. It will take time, but they are prolonging this to exhaust us. They don't want this case to gain media attention!" she emphasized.

"José has no family here fighting for justice! Please support me; that's all I ask, that we unite and collectively fight for the justice José deserves!" she added.

Moreover, she pointed out the financial burden the legal proceedings impose on the state, emphasizing that the accused is not covering his defense costs. Finally, she clarified that her activism is not about seeking attention or stirring controversy online but simply about demanding justice.

Accused Fails to Appear in Court

Damián Valdez Galloso, charged with the murder of El Taiger, did not appear in person or virtually at the February 14 hearing. He has also been absent from previous hearings. His only appearance before the judge occurred after his arrest in New York and subsequent extradition to Miami. The 49-year-old Cuban faces first-degree murder charges, which could result in the death penalty if the prosecution decides to pursue it and if the court finds him guilty.

Evidence and Unanswered Questions

So far, the most compelling evidence presented by the prosecution is a surveillance video capturing the crime. The footage shows the moment El Taiger is shot and collapses. Damian is then seen dragging his body to a car. This same vehicle, with the artist suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, was abandoned near Jackson Memorial Hospital on October 3. Despite medical efforts, he passed away a week later, on October 10, at the same hospital. The biggest mystery remains the motive behind the crime.
