Amazon Customers Alert: Cuban Delivery Driver Urges Warning Signs for Homes with Dogs

Thursday, March 20, 2025 by Emily Vargas

Cuban delivery driver Yily G Bring, known as @laflacuchi on TikTok, has stirred up social media after posting a video urging Amazon customers with pets to put up signs indicating if their dogs are friendly or not. Her plea is straightforward: "Amazon customers, when you're ordering a package and have a dog... This topic comes up repeatedly. If you have a dog outside because they're harmless and you know they're friendly, put up a sign that says the dog is nice, because we get 'scared,'" Yily stated.

She emphasized that a simple sign could prevent unnecessary scares and awkward situations for delivery drivers. "Put up a little sign; it doesn't take much. Write it on a piece of paper or cardboard, with a marker. Make it say: The dog is harmless," she insisted.

Yily shared a positive experience where she encountered a sign that read: "Don't fear the dog, watch out for the owner." This reassured her, allowing her to deliver the package and leave calmly as the dog simply wagged its tail.

However, not all encounters have been so smooth. Yily recounted an incident where a dog unexpectedly appeared, tethered to a long leash that nearly reached her vehicle. "It didn't bite either, but if it had, and you didn’t notice the leash was long, it could have taken a piece out of my leg. You’d have a problem," she warned.

With a firm tone and a smile, Yily reminded customers that if there’s no sign and there's a big or small dog—"because the little ones are the most dangerous"—she and other drivers might return the package to the Amazon station. "You'll keep waiting for your package, and I'll note in the settings that there was a dog, and I’m not risking my skinny legs getting bitten," she declared.

The video ended with a shoutout to her fellow delivery drivers: "I hope all drivers share this video because we all experience the same thing." The post has garnered significant attention on TikTok, with many users, both drivers and customers, agreeing with the Cuban's suggestion.

In 2023, Miami ranked among the top 15 U.S. cities where mail carriers suffered the most dog attacks. The Postal Service (USPS) reported that over 5,300 employees were attacked by dogs while delivering mail.
