Viral Encounter: El Chicleee Meets Sandro Castro on a Bus - "The Vampiro Chupandro"

Thursday, March 27, 2025 by Sofia Valdez

El Chicleee continues to stir up excitement with his videos on social media, but his unexpected meeting with Sandro Castro on a bus has taken things to a whole new level, going viral and sparking a flurry of reactions. The controversial Cuban YouTuber shared a video where he's seen on a public bus in Havana, showcasing passengers who look at him as if he's lost his mind. He jokes with a woman sitting in the disabled seats and teases another man he dubs "the man with the sack," poking fun at his lack of teeth.

The highlight of the video, however, is when Sandro Castro, the grandson of Fidel Castro, appears on camera. Dubbed "the vampiro Chupandro" by El Chicleee, Sandro is seen wearing a t-shirt, short shorts, and sneakers. "What are you doing here, man? Oh my god, look at this, man," El Chicleee says as he films Sandro from head to toe.

Sandro Castro's discomfort is evident, as if he doesn't belong there, which some might speculate is because he's unused to public transportation. "I'm going to throw you a punch, did you just escape from the asylum today?" Sandro retorts as El Chicleee loudly announces his encounter with "the vampire." El Chicleee asks, "Do you prefer light skin or dark?" to which Sandro, staying in character, replies, "Vampires don't eat bad."

It's clear from the video that this "meeting" wasn't a chance occurrence but rather a well-orchestrated event to keep the buzz alive on social media. The video elicited mixed reactions from El Chicleee's Instagram followers. While some found humor in the situation, others harshly criticized him for associating with Sandro Castro: "See how someone disappoints you in the worst way"; "Historic, a Castro riding a bus"; "A great one has fallen"; "I didn't like that collaboration"; "Keep making those who mock our poverty famous"; "Chicleee, from today you're on Sandro Castro's team, and you know what's coming for you on social media"; "What are you doing with that jerk"; "I'll never like your posts again, in fact, I'm unfollowing you, you're not funny anymore"; "Total disappointment when I saw Sandro, you're going to ruin yourself."
