In a tragic accident that occurred in the early hours of Monday in Santiago de Cuba, three individuals lost their lives. On the scooter were three individuals, two of whom tragically died: the driver, Félix Sandi Ortiz, and a young passenger, Darilen Gonce Salas. The third person on the scooter, identified as Víctor Ernesto Baibir, 29, sustained only minor injuries and was released from the hospital after treatment for scratches.
Leonel Bell Bravo, the Jawa motorcycle driver, was the third victim. He succumbed to his injuries in the operating room during surgery. Images from the accident site showed beer cans scattered, leading to an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash that claimed the lives of these young individuals on a major road in Santiago de Cuba.

"We urge anyone possessing these personal belongings to return them, as the families wish to recover these items," the journalist remarked.
Mayeta Labrada further emphasized the dangers of drunk driving and overloading vehicles, stating, "Neither alcohol nor passenger overload is a safe choice on the road." He extended condolences to the families, friends, and acquaintances of the deceased. As of now, the exact causes of the accident remain unknown.
