Half a year has passed since the death of Cuban reggaeton star El Taiger, and his former manager, Teresa Padrón, returned to Cuba to pay tribute to him at the chapel in Columb Cemetery where he rests. She shared this poignant moment on her social media platforms.

“Today marks six months since your heart-wrenching departure. Although time has moved on, it feels as if it happened just yesterday,” Padrón wrote on Instagram. Her message was accompanied by a video of her visit to the artist's resting place, surrounded by family members and fans of the reggaeton icon.

In her post, the former manager emphasized that the day was not for mourning, but for commemoration. “Today, we don't mourn your departure; we celebrate your life, your legacy, your heart, your soul, your humility, your teachings, and your greatness,” she expressed.

Padrón also conveyed her emotions at seeing a large gathering of people, many of whom were admirers and friends of El Taiger. “Witnessing so many people, your people, your CUBA there for you moved me deeply. You truly were and always will be GREAT. I cherished playing cubilete with those who love you and who are there from the heart, the ones who make sacrifices just to be there for you and keep your legacy alive,” she added.

Concluding her message, Teresa Padrón reaffirmed her dedication to uphold the musician's legacy and support his family. “Today is one of those days filled with emotions and sadness. I know that God and you are my strength, and I will continue fighting for you, for what is right, and for your family. A promise is a promise. I love you, negro. Always, José.”
