Cuban singer-songwriter Descemer Bueno has voiced his opinion regarding the controversial lawsuit filed against urban duo Charly & Johayron for allegedly using artificial intelligence to recreate the image of the late reggaeton artist El Taiger without permission. The lawsuit has stirred significant debate, particularly following a post by CiberCuba on Facebook, which featured comments from El Taiger's former manager, Teresa Padrón. Descemer took the opportunity to express his support for Charly & Johayron in the comments section.

"The consequence of these misguided actions is the demise of a catalog that, unfortunately, the artist can no longer defend," Descemer wrote, emphasizing that artists like Charly & Johayron play a crucial role in keeping El Taiger's legacy alive through spontaneous tributes. According to him, these tributes not only honor the late artist but also boost his musical heritage. "Thanks to gestures like these from artists who fill venues that El Taiger couldn't in his lifetime, they propel his catalog and legacy. Such actions encourage consumers to continue engaging with the music of a departed artist. I honestly doubt they have the funds to pay for this kind of promotion, which is done freely to support an unprotected family," he added.

The "Bailando" composer was clear in his criticism of the lawsuit, viewing it as a misunderstanding of the music business and a disrespect to a fallen colleague. "It's a shame and even more a disgrace that some people's ignorance, far removed from understanding this business, ends up tarnishing the good fortune of a fighting spirit like Jose's. This is the last thing you needed, my brother. If you don't know, ask and seek lawyers specialized in Entertainment. This is why I don't have managers, nor do I want one, because those who understood this business have disappeared, or there are very few left," Descemer remarked.

The tribute by Charly & Johayron, which took place during their concert at the Watsco Center in Miami, involved using AI to recreate El Taiger's image and has since sparked major controversy, especially after news of the lawsuit broke. Many artists, including El Kamel, Wow Popy, and the creator of the AI images of El Taiger, have publicly defended the duo, along with their fans.
