Chalbaud, also dramatist, poet, theater and TV director, participates in theoretical panel "La relacion de la musica y el cine" (music and cinema relation) to happen within the context of International CUBADISCO 2007 Music Fair in this capital until May 27.
Chalbaud told media the script is by Uruguayan film-maker and writer Ugo Ulive and Cuban Enrique Ubieta, author of essay "Venezuela Rebelde", testimony of the social transformations launched by that South American country.
He explained the film is named after the Martiano text "Paginas de America", and that the project, in pre-production, might be sponsored by Cuban Institute of Art and Cinematographic Industry ICAIC and by Venezuelan Villa del Cine.
Regarding the cast of the film he commented six Cuban actors and actresses will assume main characters, together to a US actress, not defined yet if playing a reporter role.
Roman Chalbaud was awarded this Tuesday with the medal of CUBADISCO, due to his simplicity, wisdom and history, received from CUBADISCO Vice president Caridad Diez.
