China to continue cooperation with Cuba

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing reiterated in this capital on Monday his country's will of reinforcing friendship and cooperation with Cuba.
The minister made these statements after welcoming Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Marcos Rodriguez, who arrived in Beijing this morning on an official visit.
The Chinese diplomatic head expressed the wish by President Hu Jintao and his country's leaders that President Fidel Castro recover.
According to diplomatic sources, he also expressed satisfaction at how bilateral relations and strengthening of the Cuban economy are continuing.
Rodriguez delivered Li Zhaoxing a letter by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque, in which he reiterated his invitation to visit the island.
The Cuban deputy minister previously visited Vietnam, from where he traveled to Shanghai to fulfill a working program.
