Cuba and Russia Cooperating

Government Minister Ricardo Cabrisas presides over the Cuban delegation to this meeting, while Grigori I. Elkin, president of the Federal Agency for Technical Normalization and Metrology, leads the Russian representation.
According to a note from the Ministry for Foreign Investment and Economic Collaboration, the event will show both countries desires to develop and strengthen mutual collaboration, as well as increase bilateral economic and trade exchange.
This session takes place in the context of the visit to Havana by Mijail E. Fradkov, president of the Russian Federation Government.
The Russian delegation's agenda includes meetings with Cuban authorities from several ministries and officials from the Institute of Civil Aeronautics and Hydraulic Resources.
