Cuba will adopt legal resources for the protection of animals through the Cuban Scientific Veterinary Council (CCVC) and the Association for the Protection of Animals and Plants.
The document was presented to the Ministry of Agriculture aimed at creating a legal regulation, said Maria Gloria Vidal, a council's specialist, reported AIN, the Cuban National Agency.
According to Vidal legal protection of animals is necessary since there are many persons that attack them, arrange dog fights, throw things in the Zoo or have pets without appropriate conditions. To break this law will entail a sanction.
This and other items will be analyzed at the 6th International Congress of Science and Veterinary Science that begins on Tuesday in this capital.
