The Information Sciences University (UCI), created by President Fidel Castro, is exhibiting Thursday that institution s work in the International Informatics Event.
Its stand displays over 20 software products and several information systems, as well as some collaboration projects with the Venezuelan company PDVSA.
All these products were created by students from that university, and dean Francisco Javier Hernandez Cao, explains these students have also created the website of the Bolivarian Company PDVSA, a practical driving simulator, virtual games, game systems for cell phones, a tele-bank and phone payment system, among others.
Among exhibitions is a distribution of Novalinx free call software, and a Linux distribution created by the UCI, said Lissette Soto Palegrin, director of Production.
