The premiere of the documentary "Za 05: Lo viejo y lo Nuevo" by Argentine director Fernando Birri is one of the gifts for the San Antonio de los Baños Film and Television International School s anniversary, opened by Fidel Castro in 1986.
Important institutions, festivals and international events have paid tribute to the 20th anniversary of the School since February.
However, the celebration will reach its splendorous height on December 15 when more than 500 graduates from 30 countries remember the commendable initiative.
Outstanding filmmaker Julio Garcia Espinosa, director of the center, announced the presentation of the books "Memory", edited by Alcala de Nares University in Spain, and "Art does never Sleep" produced by the Eight and Half Bookstore, also from Spain.
Similarly, he confirmed the exhibit of a fiction sample and documentaries by students of that school, as well as a deserved tribute to the people of San Antonio de los Baños, who have welcomed that center for 20 years.
The more than 500 graduates in the fields of direction, production, photography, edition, sound and screenplay, important workshops and specialized courses and highly-qualified professionals are among the institution s strengths, Espinosa highlighted.
