Mexican and Cuban delegations will participate in the First International Meeting "Challenges on City Managements," taking a serious look at urban historic centers.
The event will take place during the Culture Week, on occasion of the 493rd anniversary of the Villa of Santa Maria del Puerto del Principe, currently Camaguey, one of the initial centers of population erected by the Spaniards in America, 540 km east of Havana.
Slated for February 1-3, the gathering will be attended by delegates from Morelia, the Mexican capital, Havana, Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba, Bayamo, Cienfuegos and the host city.
The agenda includes issues like challenges on Cuban city management in the 21st century, heritage, culture and tourism, as well as experiences in the country's several localities.
