Cuba is promoting its tourist attractions in Argentina, as part of an initiative aimed at increasing the number of travelers to the Caribbean Island.
Sources from the tourist sector pointed out that Cuba, Brazil and Mexico are the countries that have best promoted their tourist products in this South American nation.
That achievement, experts said, resulted from renovated working relations between the two countries in the tourist sector.
According to preliminary statistics, the number of Argentine travelers to Cuba grew 23 percent in 2006, accounting for 30,000 tourists who visited the island.
Cuba not only promotes its sun and beach options, but also cultural attractions, which are highly demanded by Argentine vacationers who visit the Caribbean country.
