Cuba, South Africa seal bio-sciences deals

According to Rob Davis, deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of South Africa, benefits derived from the conventions with Ikhambi Health Company will be also valuable for other regions in the continent.
Davis, who leads a delegation of personalities and businesspeople from his nation, said his presence in the island illustrates South Africa's willingness to expand their relations.
Ikhambi Health signed with Cuban Neuronic and Labiofam ventures various letters of intent and agreements that embrace neurosciences and biopharmaceutical products of veterinarian use and plague control.
The parties have also planned a second phase with new letters of intent to introduce in South Africa veterinarian products, vaccinations and medicines with possibilities of technological transference.
Moreover, Ikhambi Health has hold talks with other Cuban entities such Cimab, Combiomed, Farmacuba and Dalmer Laboratories to exchange their products.
