The replacement of imported reagents for natural products resulting from cultured plant tissues is one of the major achievements of scientists in San Antonio de los Baños municipality, in Havana Province.
The project, to be presented during the 15th National Science and Technology Forum February 23-25 in the capital, was realized at the Juan Tomas Roig Medicinal Plant Experimental Station, in the mentioned locality.
Assistant researcher Horacio Rodriguez Gonzalez, who will present the technique, told the National Information Agency (AIN) the use of healthy substances and reduced costs of the process.
