Cuba will host the 2007 competition for seven competitions in the World Villa de la Habana Cup in fencing in June, which competitors will include a good part of the best fencers on the globe, seeking universal rank.

National Commissoner Rigoberto Morejon said the The Grand Priz category tournament includes male foil - June 10 and 11, female foil - June 13 and 14, two female individual for sword (June 8 and 9) and saber (June 16 and 17) and two collective for foil for both sexes.

Morejon told press the Havana competition will serve American fencers as preparation for the Rio de Janeiro Pan-American Games in July.
