Cuban art exhibition in Malaysia

An exhibition of the paintings of prominent Cuban artist Enrique Wong Diaz will be held at WismaKebudayaan Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) here from Sundayuntil April 29th.
The exhibition, entitled "Cuba: Homage by Enrique Wong", will feature 48 masterpieces of the artist onthe theme "human sufferings due to Westerncolonization". It is jointly organised by the Cubanembassy and SGM.
"Basically, I have used some personal techniques in my drawings which will be exhibited here, such as mixingtogether techniques like graffito, acrylic, oilpainting an also blade.
About half of the paintings were on canvas and the rest on paper," he told Bernama.Diaz, who was accompanied by Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Pedro Monzón Barrata, said he would deliver an art talk on "Human Suffering in Enrique Wong'sworks" on the first day of the exhibition.
