Cuban cardiology quality praised

Dr. Naranjan S. Dahlla, director of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS) headuartered in Canada, praised Cuba's development in this medical specialty.
The researcher and professor, who attended the First International Symposium on Cardiology in Holguin, Cuba, said he identifies with the island's health programs, included new cardiovascular plans, Granma newspaper reports.
Dahlla also praised the training of young physicians for those changes that in the 10 years to come will be produced in that discipline, mainly on the molecular level.
"I am sure Cuba will continue with health success," noted Dahlla, and said the aim of the Academy he leads is to facilitate exchanges among Cuban and Canadian experts and those from other parts of the world.
