Cuban Volleyball Players travel to Serbia in week four of World League

Cuba and Serbia will play in Beograd and Novi Sad on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, after they split their two-game series last weekend in Havana.
Last Friday, Cuba took the win in five sets (25-19, 22-25, 28-30, 25-17 y 15-12) but the Serbians responded with a 3-1 (23-25, 23-25, 32-30, 21-25) triumph on Saturday.
After the series in Serbia, the Cuban team will travel to Russia and then to Egypt, where they will conclude the preliminary round.
After three weeks of competitions, Cuba places second in Pool C with four victories and two setbacks. Russia dominates the group with a 5-1 win-loss record, Serbia has three wins and three losses while Egypt is winless in six outings.
In the meantime, undefeated Brazil tops Pool A with 6-0, followed by Finland (3-3), South Korea (2-4) and Canada (1-5). Pool B is led by the United States (4-2) while France (3-3) is second, Italy (2-2) is third, and Japan (1-3) is fourth. Finally, Bulgaria and Poland are undefeated in six outings in Pool D, although the Bulgarians lead on a better point-ration. Winless China and Argentina close the standings of the
group.
The host country - Poland -, the winners of each pool and a wild card chosen by the FIVB will advance to the final round of the event that will take place in Katowice from July 11 to 15.
