A special presentation of the documentary "Cuba Libre" by director Omelio Borroto (Mundo Latino), took place at the Biblis Cultural Center in Rome, Italy. The film narrates the 1956 voyage of the Granma yacht that brought a handful of young men from Mexico to Cuba to begin the Cuban revolution.

The event at a packed hall in the downtown Trastevere district was coordinated by the Cuban Embassy and the Rome branch of the Italy-Cuba Friendship Association. Present for the screening was Italian Gino Done Paro, one of the five non-Cubans who made the voyage that marked the beginning of the final period leading to the triumph of the Cuban revolution in 1959.

Filled with emotion, Done said that he had only carried out his duty. He said he participated at the time for Cuba and that he had no regrets and would do it again.
