The theoretical encounter will be carried out through masterful conferences, discussion panels, round tables and the work in commissions. In this edition the most outstanding conferences will be those entitled Hispanic Repercussions in the Cuban Ten-Line Stanza, by the researcher Virgilio Lopez Lemus, and The Importance of the Musical Background in the Cuban Rural Music, by Maria Teresa Linares.
The seminar also foresees the panel entitled Cucalambeana Folkloric Party, Tradition and Identity, and the round table the Samuel Feijoos Cultural Legacy in Cuba.
The debates will also be enriched by the investigations that will be discussed in two work commissions from June 26th to 28th, date of the colloquy. Among those studies are The Mayabeque, a Riverbank for the Ten-Line Stanza, The Movement of Cucalambe Homes in the Community Maximum Gomez, The Rural Root in the village of Trinidad, The Ten-Line Stanza in the Audiovisual Media; Justo Vega, the Gentleman of Cuban Ten-Line Stanza; Panorama of the improvisation in Spanish America, The Rural Ten-Line Stanza and a Homage to Fidel Catro.
The opening of the Colloquy will be on June 26th in hours of the afternoon with the inauguration of the exhibition Approach to the Iconography of El Cucalambe.
The antecedent of this theoretical encounter dates from 1979, when the First Literary Symposium was carried out in this Cuban eastern city.
