Music, Image and Sound, is the slogan for Cubadisco 2007, to held from May 19 to 27, devoted this time to the music in the cinema.

This year outstanding filmmakers that have set an starting point in the Seventh Art`s musical history will be honored, among them, Alfredo Guevara, who has conferred identity and a real image to Cuban cinema through his restless and rigorious labor. One of the major attractions of this fair will be the presence of music for children, highlighting compilations of EGREM and Bis Music.

Besides, symphonic production tops the event with the appearance of some rescued recordings made for ballet directed by Manuel Duchesne Cuzán. Among the artists having more nominations are Sexto Sentido Group, soloist Telmary and Ulises Hernández and Luis Carbonell.

Some other performances are scheduled as concerts of Beatriz Márquez, troubadour Ireno García, Pancho Amat y su Cabildo del Son and Manguaré Group, among others.
