A new cultural center characterized by the majesty of its eclectic architecture has been opened in the eastern Cuban city of Las Tunas.
Located at 229 Francisco Vega Street, the facility, which was once the house of a well-to-do local family has been renovated and given a new social function to the benefit of Las Tunas residents.
According to Oleydis Sanchez Yanez, director of the institution, it will have multiple functions. It has three art galleries, a reading room, two craft stores, and a wide backyard outfitted with a stage and 200 chairs
The cultural center is situated in the first block of a boulevard that is currently under construction in the heart of that city.
