New cultural options will be implemented in Cuba in June, as part of a strategy to spread stage arts throughout the country.
One of the options is the circus show "The One Thousand and One Nights", which was directed and choreographed by Cuban artist Alberto Méndez.
With a cast of young artists, "The One Thousand and One Nights" harmonically combines classic circus acts with music and choreographies performed by the Teatro América Ballet company.
Another attraction will be the monologue "Conversation at Stein's House on Absent Mr. von Goethe", by German playwright Meter Hacks and starring Cuban actress Susana Pérez.
In addition, the National Guiñol Theater will stage "El Otro Javier" (The Other Javier", directed by Sarah María Cruz and starring José Ignacio León.
