Cubana de Aviación, Cuba's flag airline, will start operating special flights to Cayo Largo del Sur soon.

The resort will benefit from additional flights in January and February, during the peak tourist season.

Cubana de Aviación is also promoting one- and two-week tourist packages with stays in Cayo Largo, Varadero and Havana.

According to experts, Cayo Largo is one of the best places in Cuba for scuba diving and nautical activities in the key's pristine beaches and coral reefs.

A rich fauna lives in the region's shallow waters, and the key's hotel infrastructure is in perfect harmony with the natural environment.
