Pianist Frank Fernández selected to attend Moscow celebration

Cuban pianist Frank Fernández was selected to represent Latin American in the upcoming celebration for the 140th anniversary of Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow as Internet website frankfernandezpianista.com reported.
Fernández was selected to perform among a group of notable graduates of the prestigious Music School considered Mecca of the musicians from all over the world.
The Cuban will play Rachmaninoffs Piano Concerto No. 2 on March 6 in the Grand Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with musical accompaniment by the Symphonic Orchestra of Moscow Academy.
Doctor Elena Dolenko of the Department of Foreign Music of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, who traveled to Cuba in order to hand over the invitation said " Frank Fernández' Rachmaninoff is unlimited and infinite and playing Russian music in that way might be perform only by a Russian ".
