Russian tour operators opt for Cuba at international fair

A group of tour operators from different parts of Russia are to attend the presentation on Cuban tourist options on the opening day of the Inturmarket Fair in this capital.
Boris Grizlov, president of the state Duma will be present for the official opening of this promotional event, which goes on until March 21, according to the Federal Tourism Agency (Rosturism) web site.
Sources from the Cuban Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) in this capital told Prensa Latina that all the publicity material presented the initial event has run out.
"This detail confirms a Russian preference or interest in our country as a tourism destination," affirmed Carlos Hernández, director of the MINTUR representation in Russia.
The exhibition was accompanied by the screening of a 30-minute information video on tourist complexes in the archipelago and exchange between professionals in the sector in the two nations.
