Spanish ballerina Tamara Rojo put a spell on the public gathered at Retiro Park, Madrid, by her Odette-Odile interpretation in the Swan Lake ballet.
Directed by Cuban maitre Loipa Araujo and with also Cuban Carlos Acosta as Prince Sigfried, the production was staged in an open-door stage built on a lake.
Lithuania's corps the ballet, hired exclusively for this production, successfully supported the famous Petipa-Ivanov choreography with Tchaikovsky music.
More than 15,000 people, mostly standing, enjoyed the show, undoubtedly an exquisite present for Madrid residents.
