Sting sang "Roxanne" for cuban musicians

The gathering with the ex-leader of The Police, who is in Cuba on a private visit since January 16, took place Thursday at the Club Habana, a beautiful facility located west of the capital.
Compay Segundos Group opened the evening managing to put the British and his wife Trudie Styler to dance to the strains of the worldly-famous piece "Chan Chan".
Later, César López, ex-Irakere and stellar saxophonist, began a long strain and Carlos Varela sang one of his memorable songs accompanied by guitarist Elmer Ferrer.
Thus knew Prensa Latina, Sting was jubilant with so much good music around him and asked Varela for the guitar to sing "Roxanne", one of the greatest hits of The Police, which director Baz Luhrman further increased in Molin Rouge.
The soirée concluded with all the musicians, including Sting and Trudie Styler, singing Cuban music together.
