The cattle fair of the Santa Gertrudis race, on the island of Turiguanó, may become a tourist attraction in the eastern Cuban province of Ciego de Avila.
According to local authorities, the fair, which is close to the tourist resort of Cayo Coco, provides additional attractions to Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens).
Precisely, Turiguanó's genetic company has a large livestock of purebred Santa Gertrudis, which has been certified for its morphological characteristics.
Its contribution, the experts said, can be a determining factor to increase the country's livestock, given its adaptation to the local climate.
In addition, the fair has an excellent infrastructure to hold events, including a spacious area to exhibit nearly 100 animals, conference halls and a rodeo.
Therefore, it could be a good place for entrepreneurs to combine leisure and business in Cuba
