The Jose Marti website, http://www.josemarti.cu of the office of Marti Programs was officially presented on Wednesday in Havana to spread information about the life, work and thinking of the world-famous Cuban.

This website includes two permanent columns by Drs. Armando Hart and Cintio Vitier. There are also the selection of the Obras Completas de Marti (Martis Complete Works), a chronology of his life and virtual visits to four sites related to Cubas national hero.

The presentation of the site (http://www.josemarti.cu) was an opportune moment to honor Cintio Vitier and Fina Garcia Marruz with the Thinking is Serving Award, the highest recognition of the Center for Marti Studies (CEM in Spanish). It is awarded to individuals and institutions which excel in the creation of works about Marti.

Dr Armando Hart Davalos sent a message of friendship and solidarity to the American people, using the words of Jose Marti, who lived in the United States for more than three years.
