World Festival of Low-Budget Cinema screened in Cuba

The International Festival of Low-Budget Cinema again lights up the big screen until April 22 in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin.
This years contest will enjoy both the greatest number of works and participants since the festival of film started five years ago. A series of activities, that included concerts, were inaugurated to kick off the festival.
The festival has received more than a hundred works, of which there are 30 documentaries, 12 original scripts, 36 fiction films, six movies and 17 experimental works.
The works show real life situations in countries such as Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, France, Iran, India, Cameroon and in Spain, which is bringing the largest number of works from Europe.
