The Zambian minister is expected to sign a sports cooperation accord on Tuesday with the president of the Cuban Sports Institute Christian Jimenez. The protocol will further strengthen historic friendship relations between Cuba and Zambia.
During his stay on the island, Namulambe will visit several sports facilities, such as the International Sports Institute, and the Havana-based Anti-doping Lab. He will also meet with deputy foreign minister Ivan Mora Godoy and with the general manager of CubaDeportes enterprise Oscar Acosta.
Namulambe will take a first-hand look at ongoing social programs launched by the Cuban Revolution. His official visit will conclude next Friday.
