Cubans Impact in Ballet World Fiesta in Caracas.

A memorable Black Swan pas de deux by National Ballet of Cuba First Dancers Viengsay Valdés and Romel Frómeta closed Ballet World Fiesta in Caracas.

A standing ovation to Viengsay and Romel and Sadaise Arencibia and Elier Bourzac honored the Cuban ballet School skill, technique and passion.

The program, a sampler of schools and trends, Viengsay particularly impressed with her turns, rhythm and sublimity characteristic in Cuban dancers.

Romel impeccably danced the pax de deux Spartacus (music by Aram Kachaturian; choreography by Azari Plisetski) and the Swan’s Death (Camile Saint Saens-Mijail Fokine), and closed with Alicia Alonso’s version of Black Swan of Marius Petipa).

Sadaise and Elier reaffirmed the quality of Cuban dancers at Rios Reyna Stage of the Teresa Carreño Theater with the 3rd Act of the Sleeping Beauty and White Swan (by Tchaikovsky-Alicia Alonso/Marius Petipa).

The night, impregnated with Cuban flavor, left the locals ready for another production slated for August with Venezuelans Cristina Amaral and Cristina Gallardo.

Other brilliant performances were those by Venezuelan Gallardo and Cuban Elier Bourzac, Sae Eun Park and Young-Do Lee (Korea) in Corsair and Satanella (of Marius Petipa).

Also on the stage were Venezuelans Alejandra Martinez and Walter Castillo with the pax de deux Passion (musica: Giacomo Puccini; choreography: Hector Sanzana).

The Gala was accompanied by the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphonic
